"We have just returned from an amazing week at Ness St in Berwick on Tweed. This house is amazing, everything you could possibly imagine needing and all of it is top quality. Its within in easy reach of Edinburgh, we drove most of the way (about 50 mins) and then caught the Park and Ride train in from Wallyford. We had wonderful weather and explored all along the Northumberland coast, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Craster etc are absolutely stunning. We went to Lindisfarne more than once, visited the castle, did a bit of bird watching and had lunch in the Pilgrims Cafe. Berwick is a lovely town, full of cafes and restaurants, walking around the walls is a great way to get a look at the town, traffic free! If you are looking for a lovely holiday home in Northumberland then this is definitely the place for you. Its spacious enough for a large family but there were just the two of us and we found it lovely and cosy." See more reviews..
